Have a teen who loves art and cooking, but has aged out of our programs? We are currently looking for junior assistants and assistants to join us at camp this summer, as well as throughout the school year.

We launched our junior assistant volunteer program last year, and it was a great success! This is a volunteer position for students in grades 7-10. Junior assistants practice their leadership and job skills, earn volunteer hours and serve as guides and role models for our campers. We are looking for kind, fun, enthusiastic young people who are ready to step in and help make camp a great experience for everyone.

Tasks can include everything from leading games, washing dishes, working with small groups, prepping materials and more. Junior assistants must be able to commit to help for a full week at a time (9 am- 3:15 pm) and ideally work more than one week of camp a summer. Assistant positions are paid and for ages 16+. Must have experience working with kids, an interest in cooking and art, and a commitment to making camp a positive experience for all. You will serve as an assistant teacher during both cooking and art, so some experience with both is necessary. You must be able to work at least 2 weeks of camp each summer, 9 am-3:15 pm. We are looking for welcoming, caring and enthusiastic young adults who are ready to support campers and help teachers create a fun and memorable environment at camp.
